WHO WE ARE

The Global Martial Arts Association and Hall of Fame was established in 2005, by a group of Martial Artists with a minimum of 30 years in the Art.

The Global Martial Arts Association is made up of many seasoned Martial Artists, who with their years of experience and talent, promote upcoming Martial Artists by teaching, encouraging and recognizing their accomplishments. The Global Hall of Fame is a forum in which these aspects can be rewarded. We believe in non-political family oriented events where everyone is welcome to participate with no fear of favouritism or prejudice. We try and make our Tournament a fun and enjoyable time for learning, meeting new people as well as catching up with the old.

Our main goal is to continue to promote the Martial Arts in any and all styles while keeping the atmosphere friendly and organized by recognizing outstanding accomplishments, both in the Martial Arts Community and their home Community activities. We teach and show respect and humbleness to all our Members and participants at all events.

This organization also has a "Special Needs" Division headed by Prof. Ed McLachlan who has over 60 years of this type of Instruction under his belt!  Prof. McLachlan himself is hearing impaired.
